Storm Peak Plumbing & Heating is a small company built in the Yampa Valley for the homes and businesses that actually get lived in through a long winter.

Daniel came back to the Yampa Valley to start the company he’d been working toward for three decades. His son is on the crew with him — registered apprentice, on the tools, learning the trade the same way Daniel did: on real jobs, not from a brochure.

We do plumbing, hydronic and radiant heat, boilers, gas piping, water heaters, water treatment, remodels, and service. Residential first. Commercial when it fits how we work.

Daniel spent years on big Colorado projects — hospitals, schools, fire stations, museums, and custom homes. That work taught the systems. It also showed what gets lost when a job is just a number on a board.

Storm Peak is the opposite of that. One crew. One phone number. The same people who bid the work are the ones in the mechanical room. We treat the house like it’s ours, finish what we start, and stand behind it.

Daniel is a Colorado licensed Master Plumber with more than 30 years in the trade. His son is the first apprentice at Storm Peak.

That’s not a slogan. It means the next generation is on the job now — measuring, soldering, pulling pipe, and learning why a hydronic loop either works at 7,000 feet or it doesn’t. Training takes time. We plan for that instead of pretending a two-man crew is already fully seasoned.

Credentials

Colorado Master Plumber. OSHA certified. Factory-supported experience with Rinnai, Gastite, Uponor, Watts, Viessmann, Navien, Lochinvar, Grundfos, Taco, Tekmar, and Viega. Premium fixtures when the house calls for them — Kohler, Moen, Delta, Brizo, Hansgrohe, Grohe.

License, insurance, W-9, and references available on request.

The work behind that

Daniel’s background includes luxury residential and radiant work in the Steamboat area, plus larger Colorado projects at places like Craig Hospital, Auraria, Denver Art Museum, South Metro Fire, and Trappeur’s Crossing. That list is how he learned the trade at scale. Storm Peak is how he chose to practice it now: local, accountable, and built to last past the punch list.
